Meine ersten Gehversuche mit dem Konstruktionsprogramm FreeCAD Weblink zu der im Video zitierten Software : sourceforge.net Gibt es dort auch für Windows und MAC OS : Linux Ubuntu 11.04 AMD 64bit www.ubuntu.com PC Hardware Intel Core I7 980x Nvidia Gforce GTX 470 6GB RAM 24″ Monitor Videoaufzeichnungssoftware : recordmydesktop

   No problem. I wanted to tell about the wrong splash screen but I reached the character limit! Development was switched to v0.13 in early December.

   FreeCAD is nowhere near the functionality of SolidWorks, but the core team of developers (2 of them German BTW) is very active, and FreeCAD evolves fast!

   yes i used it the first time and i wanted to show the others that there is a nice program i had found and my first steps using this program.

   The version number in the freecad splash screen is wrong , shows 012.

   I’m sorry, but your video shows that you don’t have much knowledge of FreeCAD.

   First thing, you are not running v0.12, but v0.13 development release as is shown in Synaptic.

   To compare FreeCAD to SolidWorks as wouzsz did, use the Part Design workbench. It will produce solid parts from sketches. And an assembly module is in the works, so stay tuned!

   @wouzsz ich verstehe was du meinst.
   Ein Professionelles CAD Programm ist 10x besser und leichter in der Bedienung, hat viel mehr Funktionen.
   Daher bleibe ich auch bei MegaCAD das es leider nur für Windows gibt.

   Mag sein das SW besser ist, freeCad kostet dafür aber keine 6000€

   Sorry aber wenn man mal mit SolidWorks gearbeitet hat, möchte man das hier niemals benutzen.
